To take your body measurements for your wedding gown is’t difficult as you think. To do this, you need to have a tape measure and one person take your measurements. Wear form-fitting clothes and bustier or a bra similar to the one you’ll be wearing under your wedding gown. Stand up straight. You should feel easy and natural.
Bust – Take the tape measure and measure across your back and around fullest part of your bust.
Waist – wrap the tape measure around the smallest part of your waist.
Hips – wrap the tape measure around the fullest part of your hips
Height from shoulder to floor – Take this measurement with the same height shoes that you will wear with the dress. Keep the tape measure perpendicular to the floor. Stand up straight and place the end of your tape measure at the top of the shoulder measure from the shoulder all the way to the floor.
